No. Trading engine of MtGox is not very good written, I wouldn't give more than $5,000. But a good one should cost something like 100k.

It's so laggy. Only 2 options here: a) it's written very poorly; b) it runs on Pentium II with 16 MB RAM.

Sounds like an opportunity, I'm an entrepreneur with means, but I am not a programmer. The Bitcoin community would benefit from a better site. So programmers let's team up and create one PM me if interested.
