Bitcoin-central: Will it ever come back? :(

I've only been dealing with bitcoins for a couple of weeks, and it that time alone it seems that vendors having been shutting up shop or being forced down by hack attacks.

I was about to transfer money to Bitcoin central, but the same day the site was knocked out. It's been four days now with no sign of it returning. They said they'd be back in 48 hours but it's way overdue...

They say they will be returning in the next one day. You are lucky that the hack happened and was detected before you sent your money.
If you have a MtGox account, you can transfer Euros there as well. I found that transfer to MtGox takes slightly longer than for bc (about 2 days more), but the rates are better.
