This is the first time I've checked out the new beta forum at
https://beta.bitcointalk.org/ and I have to admit that I'm quite shocked to find it JavaScript only and ridden with google analytics spyware.
Maybe 95% of users don't care (or don't even notice), but as a security conscious user this is totally unacceptable for me. Frankly I'm a bit surprised to find such an degree of gross security and privacy negligence in a Bitcoin forum.
It's probably just the developers trying to supplement their puny $100,000 a month income. The four developers need to eat, right?
I'm confident once the beta forum becomes the actual forum. Theymos will only serve bitcoin ads. He makes more money from then anyway.
In the meantime, you can just avoid the beta.
