I was wondering about the whole memory overclocking thing... As far as I know, 8GB model comes with VRAM at 2000 MHz, whereas 4GB model uses something like 1800 MHz or something like that...
Since Ethereum for example, seems to be more memory intensive, it would appear that the 8GB model is getting a a decent increase in hashrate. But if I overclock the 4GB model's memory to around the same 2000 Mhz, would I essentially be using the 8GB model as far as hashrate, or even gaming performance wise? I would think so, but maybe it's not all about the memory clock speed. It's just, if I can save a few bucks and just overclock to get the same hashrate, why not, you know?
