Yeah glad to read it, and it will not get dump like 2014 again. and it seems like the bitcoin is coming with the strong body. to keep the price is stable above $1100  If it stays stable above $1000 throughout the year that's more than enough. Now it has broken the ATH. So everyone has a fear that it might fall as like 2014. If it becomes stable too doesn't affect the users but it should not fall below $1000 for our goodness. Based on ETF we can expect the things to change. |

next stop is probably the price of gold.
when 1 bitcoin = 1 oz of gold, things will start to be even more interesting. i could see it pumping very quickly to 1250(current price of gold)

Ah yes. Forgot about what the price of gold was. Haven't checked since bitcoin started it's ramp up in price. It is just amazing how fast it is reaching near gold's price of over $1200. It can surpass that now. Anything is possible in life now, anything can be done with bitcoin now!  |

I always thought the ATH was higher than just $116X, but I guess I'm wrong. It could have just been for a little bit of time that it was clocked somewhere around $1.8k, but I don't know for sure and I have no idea if I would be able to show some real numbers for all of that.
Good to see. This most recent rally has been insane to watch, now I'm just hoping we get a bit more of a dip and I can grab a bit more before it takes off.

Great news, what is more amazing is that we did it without Chinese exchanges leading the way!
Now we can wait until bitcoin will break that 'fake' ATH ever listed on an exchange - IIRC it was $1242 on MtGox.
We can argue that at that time MtGox was dying and insolvent and no one ever sold bitcoin during that spike, but it still remains top price of all time.

Oh wait.... taking the inflation rate (estimated 3%) into account, the ATH should be $1163 * (1.03)^3 years = about $1270... which is about the price of 1oz gold!
So the price must go beyond $1270 before we celebrate!

So the price must go beyond $1270 before we celebrate!
We are almost there actually since seeing on the current price on preev.com we are now on $1207 bitcoins price and if the rally would still continue then would really reach out that point in no time but still we should not expect too much since crash or price decrease will happen anytime. |

Well we finally witness new ATH i hope we can keep this maintained cuz i dont want to see price drops like back in 2014 I don't think you have to worry about a possible MtGox 2.0 scenario anymore unless something is brewing behind the scenes, but there are zero indications that are pointing at that possibility. Another benefit is that Chinese exchanges have seem to lost their role of importance. It means less possible negative aspects that people have to worry about. I think the sentiment at this point has never been this strong. I however must note that I remain conservative until the endless discussions regarding the block size increase are settled by an agreed solution. |

Lots are speculating that ETF when approved, Bitcoin will really climb up to $2000 before the end of the year. I would love to see it and happen, but we still need to patiently wait for the SEC decision on the ETF matter. |

Second thing is that almost everyone here knows that this is not the end, bitcoin will cost much more in the future.
