Did you report the false positive to kaspersky?
I have not but won't that just mean that i know it is clean and i want to eliminate it from scanning later.
I would rather know the reason behind it showing me the vulnerability in the first place.
Anyways i think i will email or contact multi bit somehow and keep this topic open maybe someone else experienced such an issue
Its my understanding that anti virus vendors take a deeper look if you send them samples. I dont think they expect users to be able to assess whether or not its actually a false positive. Many things bitcoin are labeled as virus while they are not, just because some viruses looks for wallet files (same as the wallet software) or can mine bitcoin (this does not apply to multibit obviously).
