Is there a way to put html into posts?

We've seen some great posts on this forum that are designed so well, that it looks like they're able to insert html. We've seen buttons in posts that link to different urls for example. How can we do this?

It is actually BBcode which contains a small set of tags based on HTML.
BBcode is awesome.

It's bbcode I think, not html codes.
I tried using html codes before it doesn't work.

HTML use <code > </code > tags while BBcodes uses [code ] [/code ]
