Anybody run Gentoo?

I noticed that bitcoind and bitcoin-qt are up to date (version 0.8.1), and work fine, but have to be keyworded so they are taken from the "unstable" version, not the mainline version.

However, cgminer is masked, not merely keyworded, and even after unmasking, what's there is badly out of date.  I'm wondering if there's a reason for this?  Has it just not been maintained in Gentoo for a while, or does it really have a reason (security hole, or whatever) to be masked?  I'm considering making a Gentoo ebuild for the most current version of cgminer, if nobody else has yet.

Thanks!

Josh
