I'm finding out that only way to deposit USD at Kraken as a US resident is via Wire Transfer.
That sucks because of the high fees involved per transfer.

Are there any US based Exchanges that do ACH or something else?

Try posting in the "altcoin" subforum instead of the "Bitcoin Discussion" subforum.  Then perhaps people won't assume that you are asking about bitcoin?

Just try and convert from whatever cryptocurrency to Bitcoin and cash out from coinbase, that's if you want use else buy whatever alt coin with your bitcoins on any exchange out there.
