Yep, Humble Bundle inc. don't lose any time with delaying any new bundles so...with the opening of this thread I hope we can reach out to developers who may already be thinking about Bitcoin or reaching out to new people who we can mention Bitcoin. This https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Public_relations may come in handy.(#Expectations might be extra helpful to know what one could say or not say, then of course it also depends on the situation and whom you are contacting and what their interest is)

Humble Bundle inc. has not yet decided to accept Bitcoin and if you want to know why check here post #23: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=120966.msg1455075#msg1455075
It's also possible to contact them yourself if you just want to let them know that you would like to purchase in BTC.(they might think nobody is really interested)

...though I put greater value in contacting the developers who actually contribute games to the bundles. Pick a game you like and offer to donate to them in BTC.  Cool . It's optional of course but that's what I'm gonna do  Cheesy

Got a reply:
Solar by Murudai, Mar 10 2013, The kind of reply I interpreted(warning, this is not a quotation of the reply!) "Please don't send us just a few dollars as the transaction fees we will pay are much higher than that". I sent a follow-up immediately that to receive Bitcoins there is no transaction fee, but only the payee has to pay a transaction fee. I would have ignored the message if the reply was "no, thx" but since this is just lack of knowledge of Bitcoin I had to inform!  Grin

Update: I offered some coins to Murudai for the game Solar, the game I enjoyed the most in the bundle, and I made some notes about it above.
I really didn't enjoy any other games. If somebody finds any other gamedev who accepts Bitcoin in this bundle give a shout.

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.

This is pretty serious so I post it here: I've contacted Jay Watts, an Independent Game Developer who created Solar 2.

He told me he is not into Bitcoins and that he was vexed by my donation of 0.01 USD to the Humble Bundle and suggested that next time I better steal the games rather than buy them.

I told him that if he's interested in Bitcoin I also offered him about 0.12 BTC which is worth about 14 USD. That's about 4 USD more than the average linux donation to the bundle.

The good news is if he wasn't interested in Bitcoin anyway I'll save my 0.12 which is good Cheesy
If he accepts them, well then it will also work fine as a big thanks cause I enjoyed Solar 2. In the end his loss if he doesn't want them  Cool

There may still be hope for the 1st decentralized cryptocurrency which is Bitcoin. How to approach different subjects is key to progress.
