International territory is free for civil flights. Russian jets don't have right to fly into airspace of NATO members. Russian military flights often fly without transponders, making them invisible to civilian aircraft and raising the risk of midair crashes.

Everything besides that is more or less speculation. They dont look for russian speaking people either.

I really doubt that NATO(European part) wants to go to war with Russia. Europe would be devastated which would only help the US and China.
Also the military situation in Europe is that the defending side has a huge advantage in a conventional war (if you ignore the border states).
