It just got confirmed a minute after you posted.
FYI the fee used is lower than recommended. That's 31 satoshi per byte and the recommended is 90 satoshi per byte (according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/).

My transaction is not confirming over 10 hours now and I'm not really sure why. Did i do something wrong?

Here is the transaction:
https://blockchain.info/tx/2deae8a1dab58ee8a29b91abacbf05e3b5cf94946078ae1f28f49bb9f81ac091

It just got confirmed a minute after you posted.
FYI the fee used is lower than recommended. That's 31 satoshi per byte and the recommended is 90 satoshi per byte (according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/).

You're right.. it got confirmed the minute after I posted.. weird..
I used multibit with default fee many times before and every tx got confirmed in minutes, just not sure why this1 got stuck for so many hours.

I guess this can be closed now.

I was going to do something today but I haven't finished doing nothing from yesterday...

Confirmation time sometimes take long if you didn't pay enough fees for the miners to include your transaction in a block specially when there are too many unconfirmed transaction in the memory pool waiting just like yours. Ofcourse miners will prioritize those transaction with the highest fees so they wil get more coins

Yeah. it is just like a normal service, if you didn't pay a sufficient service fee, you will not get a quality service in exchange and vice versa.

@OP: i think your problem is already solved. Just make sure that next time, you will increase transaction before sending it or else you will end like this situation. Nowadays have many transaction and the queue of transaction very huge. And it's tme for you to do your duty to lock this thread.  Wink

Pay a higher fee next time you send if you're in a rush
