If Ethereum collapse and die so many projects will go down with it, Golem, SNGLs, ICONOMI, DigixDAO, Xaurum etc. I don't think Ethereum will go under, it is just a learning curve for the team and I expect them to bounce back, apart from Ethereum I can't name any Altcoin that has given Bitcoin a run for it money which is good  for the Cryptocurrencies market in general if we look at the big picture.

I don't know how with others but some coins want use Eth just to send/recive dividends at cheap price.
If needed many projects will be ported to another systems like waves/lisk/nem in future.
Etherum for those which will use advanced scripting can be hard to replace but those only "shares" tokens
are really easy to port by making snapshot of current state especially when eg. ICONOMI is centralized system and
making port to other coin is REALLY easy ^^ comparing to creating own system.

....

Show me some Bitcoin is dead topics..
...

To be honest on my local forums like wykop.pl there 80% of population thinks that BTC is dead and is just bubble.
BTW they stated it at BTC @1$  so. Making thereads "dead again" is common in internet.
I look at ETH mayby more like on LTC dump or ripple.
Massive rise and forget.

Even here you will find thread that reads "bitcoin is dead".I think those who start crying are either want to create panic and hence price fall or they are just too weak impatient and start fearing on a minor downs

That is true. Most of the promising projects runs with the help of Ethereum and if the project of Ethereum collapse then all the platforms which follow Ethereum will be doomed for sure and the price of Ethereum will come back to normal valuation after some time without a hurdle.

Let me tell you i don't believe at all in the Eth or ETC projects.
First, i still don't know who is managing these projects, nor why they decided to split, and i don't care about knowing.
Second, it is far from been user friendly, so much tutorials for so much useless things.
Third, why the hell they use Solidity language ? can't they just use javascript as it is so close to ?
Fourth, these currencies are highly over estimated, for what ? what do they bring new ? a load of useless code ?
Fifth, Again not user friendly, you must be a certified dev, or having a lot of time to kill in order to understand how it works, and even when you know how, you have nothing to do with it, sit is a waste of time.

What do they mean with smart contract, and please don't give a 99 lines long explanation, by the way i don't care about a "Greeter", any noobish dev can do it with any language.

they didn't split up just so you know. You gotta learn more about the project before you criticize them. They're worth a lot than the rest that tries to go up even today.

you gotta learn about them else no one will also be interested to yours which is this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1542256.0
I assisted to the born of ethereum, i talked to genoil about how the mining will happen once they go POS, after this i saw that they splited, and yes they "split", so basically now it is a POW/POS blockchain, i don't want to go too deeply in details as i talked to the ETH devs too, they are too proud about solidity, but it is just bull-shit in my eyes, they complicated a wonderfull language for nothing, they complicated the whole project.
Ethereum = Complicate
Try to do a simple thing with eth, it is impossible, you have to be a certified dev for this with all the technical details around it.
I also used to mine eth on dwarfPool, i don't care about it now because it is unstable, it is not a matter of price, but all about "solidity" not the language, but the project Smiley

Ethereum is not going to die - not this year or the year after that. Y'all accept it and move on with your individual lives.

$7.60 and dropping.. still  Cheesy

It is in fact already dead.. you just refuse to admit it.

And as always i hear absolutely nothing about the DAPPS you all love and use so much.
Get it ?
When the hype manipulation pump squad left so did the profiteers.
You last bag holding desperate dregs are screwed.
Because it's not about "smart contracts" it's about your ROI's ..on a hollow gimmicky scam ICO platform thingy.

..that is not even used as intended.

Hence it is fucking dead.

If i was a bag holder right now i would be sweatin' bullets  Cheesy

It must be terrible to be such a pessimist in life. You need to get out more and feel the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair. Not everything is black and white, and as such markets move up and down. Constantly. Even the mighty BTC fell from $1200 to $200 yet you want to try to ingrain your pessimistic outlook on life on ETH because it fell $5! That only makes it a gud buying opportunity.  ETH is a new great tech and one that's still being developed. It's extremely shortsighted of yourself to expect Rome built in a day. Step away from the computer and get out more. You'll see that you life doesn't have to be so blighted.

Gud luck on your recovery.

What did you say about DAPPS ?

Oh sorry you were talking about the market price.. which you were wrong about by the way.
If ETH reached up over $20 a coin and it's dropped to $7 that would be more than $5  Shocked
Your pretty gud with math'z huh ?  Cheesy

And who says i have hair ? LOL
And i am plenty optimistic in life.. just not with Altcoins.
Wonder why ?
Look at the track record of them all..

Then i suggest you check out this.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Optimism_bias

I would advise being realistic and honest about the situation and not having a tainted view because as you put it "you are all in" bag holding.

Oh and i do believe you said ETH will be hitting $100 a coin right after the DAO attack.. so... uhhh  Cheesy

Has Butters paid his monthly Microsoft Azure bill ? After all Microsoft is "Using" Ethereum.
Remember that lie to lure in victims ?
It was just like the IBM one way back or the more recent "Big Banks" one you were spouting off here about.

And seriously you really need to stop with the comparisons to Bitcoin.
That is highly offensive.
Even if they were both currencies.. which they are not.
One is a crooked scammer ICO gimmick app's trend platform scheme coin.
Satoshi never launched an ICO then admitted to dumping a million dollars worth on supporters.
But Butters sure as hell did !

And Rome ? ETH ain't no Rome either  Cheesy

What is it you are waiting for adoption ?
What was the first thing i said and the thing before that ?
Which DAPPS do you use again ?  Cheesy

I dont know why people bother too much on this issue since all of altcoin do suffer this kind of stuff on which they dump its price for a particular reason and regarding to ETH i dont think it would die on this year and its really impossible and we already witness the previous hacks and events that really suffer or affect eths price but still its standing.
