This happens to me more often than not. I wish to send funds between two exchanges, and they are listed as options. Bitinstant/AurumXchange accept payment, and then I wait....not so instant. Then I find out that they don't have any reserves at the exchange they purportedly can transfer money "instantly" to, and my money is stuck in limbo.
This is getting really frustrating. My most recent experience with this is with Bitinstant. Again, I have a significant amount of funds tied up in a bogus transfer, and I probably won't get a refund until Monday, maybe even later.
This is ridiculous. Maybe if it happened occasionally I could understand, but it's more than half the time I attempt to use these services. How hard is it to write code that checks the reserves before accepting customers money?
