Hi all,

Does anyone have experience with OKPay > BTC-e? I've funded my OKPay account and then deposited to my BTC-e account, but the transaction is on hold and needs manual verification. It's been on hold for 24+ hours now with no replies to my support ticket from OKPay.

My OKPay account is fully verified and has been for a long time even though I've never really used my account with them. Have other people here experienced delays with them?

A couple of days ago I transferred some Pounds into my okpay account. After the usual day and a half delay (Barclays?) I had an email saying it was completed, then about 5 minutes later an email saying it was now "on hold". Said it was awaiting verification, although I was verified several weeks ago. About an hour or so later the transaction was completed again.
In the meantime I had looked at their FAQ on the support section and saw something about transfers on hold requiring a scan of the relevant bank statement.
As I was in a hurry ( to buy more BTC obviously) I sent them the appropriate scan. Not sure if this is what caused the "unhold", as they put it, doubt it as there probably was not time, and the reply from the support desk arrived a day or so later, long after the case was already closed.

You're lucky to have only had to wait an hour or so. It's been over 24 hours for me that my transaction to BTC-e is on hold... It's only a small amount too so I doubt they're investigating it for fraud (especially as my account has been verified for months). It seems they're quick enough to accept money in, but when it's going out of your account everything is on a go slow.

If anyone has any suggestions for getting money into exchanges from within Europe I'm all ears. I was trying to buy into Litecoin when it was around $0.8 we're now over $4... Undecided

I am using okpay since somewhere last year never had any problems with incoming/outgoing money, but never used BTC-e with okpay maybe there is a problem between them.

Do you use it to buy coins? Or just for general stuff? They support a huge list of exchanges and a lot of their business seems to revolve around them so I wonder why their transactions to BTC-e are so slow...  Undecided
