Why would people pay $206 for something that's BRAND NEW for $150 (and used for $100-115)? The SD card is worth about $10 when they're on sale (I got mine a couple weeks ago for $5.99) and the homebrew/A9LH is free and takes less than an hour to complete.

Agreed. I don't think nintendo came out with a new version of the console... But from my experience with my old Wii, installing homebrew was extremely easy and worked like a charm. There are tons of videos out there to help you out too. I think the homebrew part is not really worth as much as op is playing it out to be, unfortunately.
