definitely trying to instamine .. No info on POW algo..! WTF dev

all blocks getting mined to LXQGcuWUgv3HaQvHYGNXbddF8KkEkQxaYq
Judging by the source on Github posted on the website, it looks like a standard scrypt coin clone

yeah I checked that too. But we dont have a single node working. So basically even after knowing the algo it will be useless

Sorry, we are preparing a new node

Dude.. whom are you kidding. Everyone knows how this thing goes. You can simply share your own node before preparing others ! (If you really wanted to) lol

CHeck this one out on the github on the initial commit. Its not a direct fork but certainly looks like the copy
Yup and when you start the daemon for the first time it calls itself xueyuancoind

No algorithm, no block reward mentioned. Being ask by a lot of people but no reply at all.

And based on the wording at OP "pre-dug", it seems like dev used some kind of translator to translate from dev native language. So, I believe dev don't understand our questions...

So you've launched a new coin based on code from PPCoin and NovaCoin, correct?

Is the wallet working?

Download the node file, extract, put the LinkCoin wallet data directory
http://www.linkcoin.info/linkcoin.zip

Ok, did that, wallet is synchronized.

But afterwards it does nothing. The debug log shows a socket error and some connection timeouts...

Quote
Error: Couldn't open socket for incoming connections (socket returned error 10047)
Bound to 0.0.0.0:10001
Loading block index...

Any idea how to fix that?

I have been trying to connect several times in the last two days, it worked for a moment and let me mine but soon after it was unreachable again.
As there was no update, not even one saying how to actually mine (I tried the git repo and it turns out to be a scrypt algo), I consider this unlikely to continue.
I switched to other coins for now.
