Starting a Meetup, any hints and tips ?

Hi all i have just set up a meetup in Belfast N'Ireland.  Looking for hints and tips on ways to run the meetup.  Also anyone know of any companies that would be willing to sponsor a meetup ?

Have you reached out to the N'Ireland Bitcoin Association? You reach out to relevant companies to help you promote the event and let them advertise in return. I wanted to run a CoinFest in N'Ireland but plans didn't come off, had a few people interested in sponsoring a UK wide (and linked event) but I can probably discuss this with you more after my events are over.
