This could happen sometimes, I experienced it once. Transaction wasn't confirmed for 48 hours. Also, few days ago I had transaction that wasn't confirmed for 16 hours. Network could be very busy and work real slow, maybe the fee is too low or there could be even some problems with your wallet, exchanger or something.

I don't even understand or claim to understand how any of this works, i have a desktop wallet but someone owns my wallet you say?

I though it was an encrypted file on my computer.... Smiley

Anyway, this is the transaction i've been waiting for, it's been almost 24 hours now, seen by 20 peers. usually gets confirmed within 6 peers and an hour... can you see any faults?

yes this same thing happen with me and with some of my friends but its normally because of the lower fees anyway i am using mycelium and i always recommend using mycelium wallet for android . i do not do many bitcoin transactions in bitcoin insted i try some local wallets like paytm or skrill they do charge less fees or do not charge anything at all so all i have to do is convert my coijs into some other wallets money so i do not have to pay heavy tax for each transactions

Fee is too low for this period in time. The mempool is currently processing 27 - 30 sats per byte. Maybe in two hours.

If you are using Multibit HD then no one owns your bitcoin bu you.
Your private keys are stored on your machine. So unless your device will got hacked or you decide to share your keys with someone - you are sole owner of your BTC.

Your fee (0.0001 BTC) is too low, for this transaction to be included in the next block fee should be roughly 0.0004. (41030 satoshis to be exact)

I had a transaction yesterday with the normal fee, I have been paying all the time but it took over 12 hours to come through, which wasn't funny. On making some inquiry, got to discover the network was overloaded and the advice was to include higher fees. Now for over 30 minutes, I placed another transaction with 0.0005 BTC fee and still no confirmation. This is certainly not a healthy development for Bitcoin and it can create the room for another coin to take center stage, if not quickly and properly addressed.

It's just a spam attack on the network :/

Once the spam attack is over your transaction will go through without a problem don't worry!

I just made one transaction of 3$ worth BTC with 20k fee and it was confirmed in less then one minute so it seems to me that the situation is a little improving. Two day ago I sent 60k satoshi with 15k fee and it took 3-4 hours for confirmation.

In any case we need to be careful and check situation on blockchain before sending any BTC,and add adequate fee to prevent our transaction is stuck.I also use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ for one transaction which is stuck for more then 24 hours and it was confirmed in next 2 hours.
