I'm new to this Just trying to find out some answers

1. If I shut down GUI Miner do I lose what I have been mining?
2.If I mine multiple pools or cloud mine do I need to have multiple wallet addresses can I use one?
3. Also If I'm not posting in the right place to get the answers that I'm looking for ,  Where Do I go?

3. You should go to mining section, this is no begginers questions, its really specific questions to mining.

No you don't loos what you have been mining.  There is no such thing as progress in mining.  Since it sounds like your solo mining, you either find a block or you don't with each hash.

Also GUI Miner is a VERY OLD GPU mining software.  It is not worth while to mine Bitcoin with GPU's anymore.  Most pools will ban you for mining with a GPU to their pool.

You really need ASIC mining hardware to mine Bitcoin.
