Speed Drop / reset DSL

If I reboot my DSL at the modem and start my miners the speeds in GUI miner are normal for my setup at about 670 Mhash/s

After a random period of time the speeds drop dramatically to around 500 Khash/s.

The only way I have found to get the speeds back up is to restart my DSL at the modem (BT Infinity FTTC)

Any idea what's causing this and if there is a solution??

Never had any issues with these slowdowns on Slush's pool?
