You can take a pic of your item for sale with a piece of paper with your forum name and todays date, and upload it to a free image hosting site like imgur.
Once uploaded you will see a bunch of links on the side, one will says BBCODE for forums, copy that and paste it right into your thread, and the image should appear. If the image is way too large or needs to be rotated, you should be able to adjust it on imgur or whatever site you choose to use, and save that and copy paste as above.
