I was connected with a CAT 6e cable directly to my router and was getting 1800kh/s litecoin, now i get 1700 or less with a wireless adapter.  Does the network connection affect the hash speed? Thanks!

sort of, yes. The more lag/latency the more stale shares you will get.

I should say, it won't change your graphics card hash rate, but it will change the rate of valid hashes the pool gets from you SLIGHTLY.

but going from 1800->1700 seems too extreme to just be cuz of wireless
