Both of these companies are dishonest and will keep your money.

Bitnovo asked me for a bunch of verification documents/pictures after making two deposits from a verified skrill business account.

After sending in pictures of my ID next to the order number, my ID in a selfie, and whatever else they requested, they kept asking for more and more verification documents, so I told them to cancel the order and go fuck themselves.  Don't need to hear your comments about my language, I was extremely frustrated at this point and am sick and tired of "bitcoin" shady services becoming unreasonable with the amount of verification they need.  So they told me they would refund the transactions, that's all I'm asking for.  I have absolutely no interest in using their company and use many other bitcoin services instead.

That email was sent to me on the 10th of November.  It's now the 24th of November and I haven't had the money re-deposited into my Skrill account (1000$).

I have reported this to Skrill and they have not responded either.  Bitnovo and Skrill are both untrustworthy, shady services that will keep your money when you simply want to cancel the transaction.

I have had the exact same problem. They have been delaying my order for 3 days now and asking for every verification short of a DNA test. They are finding weird problems with my documents and keep asking for more. I hope your refund gets processed, I am in the middle of filing for a chargeback. I hope these guys resolve the issue soon.

For everyone else, please stay away from bitnovo for your orders. anything less than 20 euro they will honour, get to three figures and they will hold your money indefinitely. I am pissed off that I didn't research a bit more or I'd have stumbled on this post and saved my self a few hundreds.

Hi everybody,

We are very sorry to listen to these things. We try to provide a fast and easy solution to all of our customers. Unfortunately Skrill has decided to terminate the services with Bitnovo. Skrill still has the funds from a couple of affected users. Please contact Skrill to provide more pressure in order to receive your funds back as they are the only ones that will be able to do it. We are currently working very hard to try to recover your funds as quick as possible. From our side we cannot process a refund as we have not received the funds. We are trying our best to provide a solution for every customer.

About verifications at Bitnovo, we are currently following strictly Spanish and EU regulations for KYC and AML. All the verifications required are described in the terms & conditions that every user must accept in order to purchase bitcoins at Bitnovo. We understand that sometimes verifications could require some effort from our users.

Please let us know at soporte@bitnovo.com or Telegram @bitnovo if we can help with any extra thing.

Again sorry at the affected users, we are working hard to provide a solution as soon as possible.

This was finally taken care of, however it was a huge ordeal and I had to continuously harass bitnovo to finally send me the funds.

Had a similar incident recently. Don't trust them.

I decided against giving them their escalated requests for verification, which should void the transaction - Nope!
They still charged my credit card, giving me nothing in return. When I asked to cancel the order, they said they would return the money 5 days later - after charging a small administration fee of course.
They have yet to cancel the order and return my money going on two weeks.
They don't respond to my messages, or emails anymore.

Fortunately, my cc company has my back on this one - though the process could take up to 90days.

Overall, just avoid bitnovo. There are way easier ways to get bitcoins from reputable dealers.
