Can u help me on this, which OS is better for mining only rigs i am not using my rig it's just for mining what's better for hashrate linux or windows as i realized thar most advanced miners are using linux ?
Look at the simplemining thread it is nice for multi rig setups.
Linux is the basis for it.
What about running a pure ubuntu on the rig is there a good mining software for linux
depends you can do what you want but some al-gore-rhythms are not effective on linux
xmr would work well for you on ubuntu.
A lot depends on are you 1 rig pedal to the medal?
are you 10 rigs just cruising.
simplemining is nice for 5 or more rigs it cuts back labor and you can check your rigs from anywhere in the world.
