Hi guys,

I want to build my first mining rig, and I've already bought all the parts I need, but I just want to be sure everything will work fine.
These are the parts I've bought:
- Gygabyte GA-990FXA
- SeaSonic X-1250 PSU (yes 1250W)
- AMD Sempron 145
- 4X  Gigabyte R9 280X
- 4 usb powered risers (these)
- KINGSTON HyperX blu 2 x 2 GB DDR3-1600

I would like to know if 1250W is enough for this, on the extreme power supply calculator (http://www.extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp) I came out on 1240W recommended..

Kind regards,

Jack

If you undervolt the 280X you should be able to run it 1-2 years no problem since each card would pull 250W or less leaving 250W for system and component degradation.

1250w should be enough even if you overclock alittle.
