We're not asking for anything but community support at this point but I would like to leverage the community as a whole for advice, ideas, or anything else that can help drive this home.

Don't underestimate the difficulty, it will eat you alive. I had my own operation a couple of years ago... chasing difficulty, tracking power, cooling, and fluctuating bitcoin price is a constant battle. My advice would be to figure out how to get off the grid, event partially. Try to leverage passive cooling, the more power you use towards cooling, the worse it is for your bottom line. Monitor your infrastructure 24/7, setup automation so that if a miner goes offline at 2am, either someone is notified or you can cycle power on it.

Curious as to why you went with avalon versus bitmain though... ?

All the best for your venture into the bitcoin mining business and to be the biggest in the world.
I remember when the US was the first to have the largest supercomputer facility (and I think it still is on a university campus) in the world and you would think it would be quite possible to be able to have the largest mining facility with the former accomplished already.

For a project like this, I believe this awareness should be done in a time close to launching or when there are serious works going on the site with verifiable evidence to the community. The reason for that is several projects is being listed on the forum on a daily basis and if you are not ready to keep up with the questions that needs to be answered the thread will be long gone in a short while or we just avoid it all together since the full capacity is until 2018. I will have to wait till next month to see the door opened.

Very happy to see a large-scale, USA-based bitcoin mining operation. I think the opportunity is there since China is trying hard to regulate bitcoin and bitcoin mining. I don't have a twitter or facebook, could someone share what type of miners they will be using? I am half curious and half interested in possibly investing if cloud mining is offered.
