Author Topic: Need HELP with litecoin guiminer installation  (Read 799 times)

Litecoin wallet is installed... joined a 2 litecoin pools
tried over and over multiple times today to get the litecoin 32 guiminer version to install and keep getting the following error message:

I am in the process of buying some litecoins right now. They should be in my account within the next day or 2.. am willing to give some litecoins to whoever can help me solve this problem

Here is some more info:
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate  32 bit
Video Card is Nvidia 8400 GS  (512 meg mem)  .. yeah i know not top of line
3 Gigs of system mem
I get the guiminer software downloaded, extracted, and then when I go to run on the guiminer.exe that error message above comes up.

Probably you have installed guiminer to Program Files, this folder is protected in Windows 7. Install it to root folder, that is c:\. Also, you can try ScryptMiner
