Hello. I hate to be another Electrum user to lose my password but here I am. I try to send payments but it asks for my password and unfortunately I misplaced it when cleaning, I do have my seed though. I have done a lot of reading of posts but am still having trouble. I've tried to backup my file, then delete it, and restart but my wallet comes right up without asking me to restore with my seed - which i was able to save properly. Any chance some one can explain how to restore my Electrum wallet with my seed so that I can send a payment with a new password? I am very ignorant when it comes to computers so please don't assume I know much before trying to explain. Thank you in advance.

Just open your existing wallet and click on File -> New / Restore, set a new name and select Standard Wallet. Next pick I already have a seed and follow the rest of the process.

Im not really here, its just your imagination.
