Right now we have 5800 nodes worldwide, how many nodes we need more?
How it would help if we would have at least a million nodes?

I dont think that there is an ideal number of bitcoin nodes required,  i just think that it is the more the merrier.  i run one myself and i find it relatively cheap to run and it dosn't take up much hard drive space either,  with the latest hard drive sizes it would take years.

How much money do you have? Running 100 nodes {configured correctly} will take a bunch of bandwidth and also storage space. How are you

planning to accomplish this? The thing about a decentralized network is this.... the more distributed these nodes, the better for the network. If

a large quantity of these nodes are concentrated in a central location, then attacks would be targeted towards these locations. Let's say you run

these nodes on a data centre and this data centre goes down, then you will take down a large amounts of nodes at the same time.  Sad
