You can use electrum bitcoin wallet.

You can trade Waves on waves DEX exchange. It should be available in your waves wallet. You do not need gas. Also you can trade it on Bittrex.

1) You can create wallet with bitaddress, just google it and create wallet, you will get private key and from that point you can use any wallet.
2) I think every exchange has waves listed.
