So I have a vision for a solid coin. I talked to a few people and they all agree. I know having a creditable team is huge, so where does one go to look for this at? I mean, just because your good at one area you need to find people who are good in others to make it all work.
Just trying to get some ideas as to where to look.
The good news is there are a lot of competent tech people in the crypto community. However, the challenge is first finding someone that's a good fit for your project, and then convincing them to get involved.
Competent tech people could get a job at Google or similar making over $250K per year. If they're not already there making that kind of money you have to ask yourself why not. Often it's because they'd rather work on their own projects, things that interest them. The crypto space has attracted a lot of tech people, because it's certainly interesting and there is money to be made. You can hang around forums like this. You can try to contact developers listed on open-source cryptocurrency project credits.
You have to look at what you're bringing to the table too, though. Good developers get exposed to a lot of ideas. What's usually more impressive are tangible items, like money paid up front (not just future promises of a return) or investor commitment, something already established, like a business entity and customer pre-orders. Often people fall into the trap of thinking their idea alone is worth millions. The problem is thousands of people all think the same thing.
