I had sent out a transaction to my exchange bitcoin address on 3rd March: TX ID

The transaction was dropped by blockchain on 5th and I tried to resend the coins on the same day with a higher fee and thought that I'll try to accelerate the transaction using viabtc. TX ID But this ID is not valid on other explorers and viabtc doesn't recognize this ID.

I did not know that the first TX was still valid on other explorers and today I checked that blockchain has repeated the first TX and now my bitcoin balance is in negative.

Should I try to double spend with the fee of 0.0016 that's the required fee or just wait for both the transactions to be dropped by the network? How long will it take for these two transactions to be dropped?

When I sent another transaction with a higher fee, blockchain automatically dropped that low fee transaction and now my balance has been settled. It seems that I'll face this issue again if I don't set the correct fee. Hence, am using only Xapo now.
