so im readong Tacos post but cant post there yet...if i did put 4 X 7950's in one machine would i use the 1 up from the TX850 PSU? Also if i hooked 4 X 1600khs rigs up in a row, would the mining be split over them. so making less than if i had just one really powerful rig?

What's the best solution?
I@m looking to get 6.4ghs but will be happy with 4.8
 Undecided
cheers

If you already have the 850psu I would just build the rig with 3 hd7950s. With 4 it would be better to have 1000w. Also remember that if you put 4 on one motherboard it would be a good idea to use powered risers. Tacotimes guide for the 3 7950s is excellent. A 4 card rig should be able to do 2200-2400KH/s LTC but you may have a hard time keeping them cool depending on your setup. GL with your build

Thanks.Good to know. Grin. Any ideas on whether its best to get the sapphire or msi 7950's? and where to buy cheaply.
Also how accurate are the litecoin calcs. I understand there is a depreciation over time but how much per m/y.
waiting for my parts for my rig now. Seems like ages away....

I usually buy parts at newegg, if you have shoprunner you get free 2 day shipping there which is great. I just bought 6 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202030 and they are working well in 2 different 3 card rigs. $289 is a good price for hd7950s, and you can sell the free game codes that come with them as well. The online calcs are good at determining todays profit but theres no way to know what the proft will be in a a few months.
