Electrum for Android - 2 Unconfirmed transactions

Hi, recently before 16 hours i made a transaction-5219047342da751e3f860bee548620458df257208bd4b8178b8ab933a43ce40a
But its still unconfirmed. Now it is writen "Low fee" on this transaction. Before 2-3 hours i decided to make a new transaction and i made the fee higher, but this time it is writen "Unconfirmed parent". The second transaction is: 870c391f4f071c9fb5989614fce976892ffa2f9afc007126316842b4d489409f.
When i searched for a cure for my problem i found https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator
I entered 2 times the 2 transactions. What i am supposed to do now?

People had to wait more than 16h with 100+ fee. You paid 50 sat/b.
The recommended fee is now 150 sat/b and rising. The network is very busy.
This means that you will have to wait a lot for the 1st transaction.

The second transaction can go only after the first was confirmed. You cannot send money you don't have, and unless 1st tx is confirmed, that wallet is empty.

I think that today almost everybody knows about viabtc.com's accelerator, so I somehow doubt it'll help much.

The solution to make things faster is to double spend the first transaction, but I don't know how. Basically you have to send it again, this time with proper fee.




Edit: it looks like you were lucky and the 16h were enough. Your transactions are confirmed.

Yeah i am lucky maybe, After i entered the tx in ViaBtc the transactions are confirmed.

Even if you add your tx in the accelerator, it helps only if ViaBTC actually finds a block - which actually doesn't happen too often, it happened now (twice!) after 4h.
And I expect(ed) more people to use that tool.


I still think that you were lucky.
