Welcome. We have a sub here "Trading Discussions" in the "Economy" section. Probably best to move the thread there. Also this depends on what you want to trade. Altcoins or other currencies. There are really more exchanges then i can list here. But here are a few:
bittrex
yobit
bter
coinexchange
hitbtc
bleutrade
cryptopia

Just take a look and see for yourself what you like.

I think Bitfinex and Bitmexbtc.co are pretty good sites to trade with MARGIN.

That means you can borrow funds to make the trade, and usually borrow more than 3x or 10x your account's btc balance.

I recently wrote a very easy to understand tutorial for how to trade on Bitfinex. It offers 3.3x leverage so still quite conservative. Read more about it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1805736

There is tons of the answer for your question. If you new to bitcoin and want to make profit from trading, I suggest you to fulfill your knowledge with bitcoin, cryptocurrencies, or altcoins. Because trading is not just about buy and sell. It's not like gambling, you need to have strategy and knowledge to make profit.
And for the platform, many users already give you the best answer. Good luck

Is your trading going to be between Bitcoin and other fiat currencies or between Bitcoin and other Altcoins, I think that's what you were asked earlier.
