So I had 59$ of bitcoin in my wallet which is on the website paxful.com...i noticed i went from 59$ to 60 and everyday it would go up in just a couple of cents and now ive noticed its dropping in price (now at 58.94)....Why is this happening should i move the bitcoin to an offline wallet like downloading software based wallet....Could paxful.com be stealing my bitcoin??? Please help

Im not sure if your trolling or not but if your not then the reason you see price going down is because your bitcoin has lost value today whereas it was rising when you bought it. The same way as gbp would go up or down relative to usd.

Ignore the volatile USD price. Do you still have the same number of BTC? If so, all is good.

Scaling and transaction rate: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=532.msg6306#msg6306
Do not allow demand to exceed capacity. Do not allow mempools to forget transactions. Relay all transactions. Eventually confirm all transactions.

Yes they are stealing it lol.

Honestly that is a basic knowledge and an obvious thing that you should know since you already have some active bitcoin on your hand, the value of your bitcoin increases and decreases because of the active price movement of the bitcoin. It was time to time as long as the price moves. So your $59 can be turned to $100 or $5 depends on the price movement. Try to check and see any real time bitcoin price monitor site or app today to see what I really mean.

If you're not losing BTC you are not losing money.  Cool
Exchange rates may vary. BTC/GBP rates are still higher than in 2013.  Cheesy

Imagine if you had 5000 BTC!

5000*1270
And
5000*1170

Do the math!

Space for rent if its still trending

**CAUTION***

BITCOIN IS A VOLATILE CURRENCY meaning its value can rise/fall quickly.

Example:  1 BTC = $1,184.69 as of 1:34 PM CST if the price goes up to say $1,500 because of say the ETF decision or some other extraneous circumstance you will then see your wallet total increase... if the price goes down for whatever reason you will see your wallet total decrease.

Hope this helps good sir.

Cheers,
Enoch

I would add to this that it will only go up or down relative to other currencys. If you own 1 btc no matter what happens with other currencys you will always own 1 btc. It may just be worth more or less than other currencys. Better to think of bitcoin as a stock/asset or something rather than a currency although it can be spent on goods.

Again please check the amount of BTC you still have. You might be just looking at the coverted price. I still use an online wallet and on my first few days I was also like "What, did just lose some money?". And then after not opening it for a week "That's weird, there was more than there used to be. Did someone donated money after I spammed my address all over Youtube? Is this from that faucet I tried?"

So again, go through it first and check. Do you still remember how much btc you saved in there?
