I am one of the victim of ETC hijack(631 coins). This was an organised crime by the insider guys. They are saying to everyone that someone hijacked the website. In reality someone give the domain credential to their friend to get access to the website and steel all the coins. When we ask for the details to the domain owner the answer was she don’t have any details of it neither she can get any details from the domain provider. Ya sounds like we are school kids.
When we want to bring this issue is the ETC slack they are threatening us to ban. The hackers are the tem itself they have made millions out of this deals. Now is any one open there mouth they will be after them. They know that there won’t be any law that support the victims so they can cash out the coins.
I have traced most of the stolon etc up to the exchanges (bittrex and shapeshift) and give the guys the info to contact exchanges to block those accounts. The answer was they are helpless. Most of them are just ignoring it. Over all my suggestion to all of you guys stay away from them. They have taken my money today tomorrow it’s your turn they will find a way to get your coins.
