I recently learned that the reason Bitminter changed the autopayment threshold from 0.001 to 0.01 was due to transaction fees. I've seen some analogies to paying with something worth 100 bucks with nickels and cents.

Let's say that I have three different addresses where those 0.001 payments have gone to. Paying for something would too long unless I "pay" a fee to the network. This wouldn't be feasible when paying obviously.

My question is - what if I were to transfer all the coins I have to forth address without a fee, would it in a way collate all those nickels and cents to a dollar bills? I figure it would take some time for the network to process the payment without the fee but I'd be fine with that. Also should that forth address be in a completely different wallet?

Thanks!
