Greetings,

I am intrigued with owning a bitcoin debit card, but which one is best??? I viewed a youtube video of WageCan. What I do not like about their policy is
that they require everyone to submit ID in order to get their card. Other than that I read that they have positive reviews.  I heard of BitPay. I do not
know much about them. I think they had some not so favorable reviews I do not remember. I also do not know of their requirements for their card.

I like the "working" of what I read of WageCan, but minus the ID requirement. I am in the USA...Can anyone point me in the right direction. I hope to hear from you really soon!!!
Best regards,

I am using Wirex debit card and it seems good for me at a moment but the only issue is that many times their website is down and facing some technical problems but if you want huge limits then you need to submit your id proofs and if not then you will get limited limits on your card.

My brother use Shakepay that it is a prepaid debit card and you can spend your Btc and other cryptocurrencies. If you want use amounts greater 2000$ do yo need to submit your ID card.

Best regards,

I would suggest wirex if you want to avoid the id requirement, but then you would only be able to get a really low amount of limits or you can only get a virtual credit card which kind of sucks, i think.

Basically a bitcoin debit card allows you to cash out bitcoin, and anything that involves a central company, bitcoin, and fiat is required to get the customer's identification as per KYC requirements.

Pretty sure that only the shape card works in the US though.

If you're travelling overseas, check out the Bitwala card: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2vN-oKXQrg

Looks pretty nice from that guy's video at least.

Not sure what's the difference of a bitcoin debit card versus a bitcoin virtual credit card. I just realized this from reading the thread. If you're looking to use it to purchase online then probably a virtual credit card will do the trick for you.

Best regards,

They are all near the same, only fees may be different from one to another but not a lot. Usually they ask to be a verified member (so asking ID documents) once you reach the limits wich is usually about $2500. If I am not wrong Bitpay is for US citizen only but there are plenty of others around. Advcash, Spectrocoin, Cryptopay, Xapo are some of them. Cryptopay and Advcash both don't ask to be verified, at least as long you don't reach theirs limits, wich you can verify on their own website to find related details

There are many good cards out there but it depends on what you want to do with, do you need a physical debit card or you want a virtual one to buy stuff over the internet, also most cards will not require verification for low amounts but after you pass a limit then you will need to verify your identity.

Uquid is good for virtual, Coins bank named is perfect for POS transactions as it has good rates and fees are free for the first year of use.

Check out my thread "list of Bitcoin debit cards" for an extensive list of cards so you can do your own research into them.

Spectro I just saw on twitter are offering a free virtual card which might be useful to you @spectrocoin if you rt their message.
There is few open scam accusations against them and their bitcointalk account is tagged as scammer for almost a year. So i don't think it will be wise decision to use their cards.

Bitpay can be good card providers for OP as he is from USA.

Yup, that's true about the scam accusations. Spectrocoin haven't addresses several pretty serious scam accousations against them and thousands are at stake. IMO such practices should serve as a warning that the worse could happen and spectrocoin are not to be trusted with your money.
