PIVX vs DASH

I notice that PIVX has been having a very good pump, on very good volume.
Is someone trying to establish a real alternative to Dash, with none of the instamine baggage?

By establish I mean get a coin to a good market cap with a good team, and fix it in peoples consciousness.
