Please, enlighten us. As I posted in his thread, send me proof or post it here if you think NanoX's miner is a scam.

self moderated topic , miner providing 1000000 hashing algos for AMD cards (yeah hahahha nice joke , not that there are not minable by amd cards but just look arround at the legit miners and think about what algos they got , usually algos like lyra2z and daggerhashimoto and equihash are written in different program languages (if I am not mistaken which I think i'm not) so this guy is some world top guru who charge only 0.5 % fee for his miracle work to provide the best AMD miner in world and he deletes every post that the miner is scam/malware or wvr ) I think you should get the point ? ...

You are aware that the original SGminer contains dozens of kernels, right? That's just not enough to call it a scam.

I'm not defending NanoxX, fwiw he could very well be a scammer... but I just like to call for proof when some attacker on here says he has. So far, I haven't seen any.

Original sgminer is dated what date ? Probably spent years to develop and upgrade the miner with no doubt . And actually why should someone download a virus to test it in order to proove it is? I would expect a tirth party trusted review or at least upload evidence the miner is running - discord telegram grpups or whatever . With current topics about new miners everyone should be insta marked as scam and proven otherwise in order to protect newbies or curious people. And nowadays 100% of topics for new miners claiming huge speeds , lowest defvee and all kernels for every algo and so on are scams . I dont like your position to try to defend people with fake miners because of the reasons i posted .

All I'm saying is don't label something before you know what it is, that's all.

I agree with you in principle, and yes, in this instance, you were correct. NanoXx's miner is actually a scam and contains a virus. As said, I'm not defending him... But somebody's got to test or else it's all just baseless accusations. Plenty of other miners were released in the last year (CryptoDredge, T-Rex, Teamred etc etc) and they didn't have a discord or Telegram group when they started.

This is the reason why anyone running a miner should do so on a dedicated mining rig with zero personal info so if a miner is later discovered to be a scam the scammer didn't get personal info and you can wipe the drive

I’m all for new miners and what not but I was not going to run it again just to get a screen shot it was hard enough finding all the files in user folder. Why did it take you this long to run it yourself and realize I wasn’t lieing  I have nothing to gain from trash talk still trying to figure out how to use this forum

You couldn't be further from the truth. I actually got blinded by my wish to have a decent progpow miner so I got done myself. At least I reported his ass several times, gave him negative rep and wrote a thread about it in the scam accusations forum (which ultimately got him banned).

Did you?

Thing was it wasn't a high hash rate miner so it kind of flew under the radar.
