What's the general opinion of Library coin?

 I've gotten a closed beta invite starting in April and the launch is supposed to be in May. It's supposed to be a domain and a coin. A torrent based uncensored video hosting site. I like the idea of breaking the monopoly of Google, the tech company monopolies that conspire with the US government are all blights in my opinion. I like the fact that we can rob the power from conspirators, that's the basis of all people empowering leftism.


 I am really concerned about the uncensored portion of it though. If no one has any control over content, what to stop terrorist recruiters and illegal pornographers? I'd like to buy the coin and install the client, down with authoritarianism. But I don't want to get involved with the worst people on Earth after all.

Give me your opinion, does anyone have any insight?

You have to take the good and the bad with this sort of thing. Terrorist recruiters and illegal pornographers use the regular internet, but you are obviously still using it, right?

They also use FIAT, but I assume you still use that too?

Law enforcement will continue to go after the criminals themselves, not the technology they utilize, because there are many legit uses of said technology.

I can't remember what Library Coin is... it has been a while since I heard the name. I've got nothing for you there.

I generally agree with you. The exception would be that this is a torrent network and installing the Library network would mean I'd be enabling them. not just existing in the same ecosystem.

What I mean by the worst people on Earth are terrorist and child predators. I'm worried they will exploit the torrent system. Have no idea why you linked that. You know Democracies and Republics are left as well right?

republics always devolve into oligarchies, democracy as a concept is itself a problematic one and categories of left and right don't really cut it either.

I don't see why people create coins for stupid stuff like these. Think about it, why do they have to create a coin for something like this? Why not just use bitcoin or any other altcoin that's already in existence as their main currency. Look at this and another one like POT coin. Really, there is no point. If they are going to make that service, they should do it. Believe in their mission, but I don't see any point in buying their coin.
