Bter scamming !!!

See what's happening on this site right now..They register your deposit but you can't withdraw..how you call that !?

Site maintenance doesn't must allowed that..and more many token are listed like deposit/widraw is ok..but they doesn't credit your account or yu cant withraw..i have deposit xem on my account and it is not credited since 24h..the support give too few information.

what they do isn't correct..they look like the scam broker wich take yur money but do all possible for yu cant retrieve your funds.

They hide behind anti money laundering now to tell you that you can not withdraw your btc..but there is no laws that allows a cashier to keep your money if you want to get it back.

what happening is really hot ! they take your bitcoin but do not return it..and they call that fight against money laundering..to mi side we call that of roberry a BIG SCAM !!

now i wait my btc return from my wallet because it is very far from being safe with these scam artists.

please more peoples need to be aware..and never give the paw a like a dog under pain of being beat at the slightest insubmission.

Bter is very long time not recomdend trading in there
because in there many problem, and this good post in scam acution section, exchange section, or service announcment section

I've never used Bter exchange. As far as I know there were lots of complains about them and their service since 2015. Even here in the forum, lots of threads were made like these:

Since 2015 BTer was included on the scam exchange site. You can see a lot of the awareness post to avoid deposit on the Bter exchange site.

They're always opening the gate for everyone to deposit on that site and will try to prevent the amount to get out from his place. It's really scam exchange site. I have a little amount of btc in bter and I can't withdraw them. I've waited for it for a year.

omg its really scary..i regret to have deposited funds on this exchange..i cannot retrieve my funds now..if bter have rob my btc..it is really bad news for me Embarrassed

The worst thing that ever happen, save as altcoin and bitcoin in wallet altcoin & bitcoin, it may be true, some dev also suggested that in stores altcoin or bitcoin wallet, not wallet exchange. This may be a lesson for me and the people are beginning to realize, may not recur.

you know it's been pretty much dead since they probably stole 7000 btc from their customers a few years ago, right?

they had some mechanism to pay people back with fees but it seems like barely nothing's coming back.

in this case it's probably because of the pboc restrictions. it doesn't matter if you're foreign or not, you're on a chinese site. all chinese sites won't let you withdraw for several weeks. that's been all over the news. you'll have to wait until they allow withdrawals.

okcoin.com is international with no restrictions. okcoin.cn has the same withdrawal restrictions as does btcc, huobi etc.

Crypto currencies is still at it infant stage and scammers are using this opportunity to scammed people of their hard earned money. We have to be very careful though they still good people and good wallet providers online. We should always do background checks before send our hard earned.

Yaiks...This Chinese are really a pain now. I never deposited on those sites. But I know the feeling if you got scammed. I hope you can login and withdraw your btc.

Bter locked me out of my account too. I have been waiting for an email containing a login code for almost a year now. There's been no reply to the numerous support tickets I sent. This is my thread about it.
