I have setup a number of wallets:

1. Ethereum Mist on my computer
2. An internet based wallet: SpectroCoin (not coinbase)
3. And I like the idea of a lite wallet so will take a look at Electrum

Yes those were the best options presently.
I would also recommend electrum as I'm using it presently and one of the best in the market right now.
