Would the game,Starmade be a perfect game for Dev coin?

There's a somewhat popular game that takes the concept of Minecraft, but applies it to space.

it's called Starmade.  What if folks could buy designs/blueprints using dev coin?
Folks could also be paid in dev coin to host reliable servers.

I figured Dev coin would be perfect as you can buy so many coins cheap
Dev coin could also be used to encourage development  through the community.
For instance you could set a dev coin bounty to improve the shitty weapon AI
