cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mmpool.bitparking.com:3333/ --userpass <username>:d=<difficulty>

Use a difficulty of 1 or 2 unless you have a fairly high hash rate.

It would help if you posted the error and specified what hardware you're trying to mine with.  Otherwise nobody will be able to tell you if the hash rate you're getting is reasonable or what the problem might be.

The --userpass line is a flag, not your password. Only replace the items surrounded with <>

Here's my exact command line:

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://mmpool.bitparking.com:3333/ --userpass wormbog2:d=4

My username is wormbog2, difficulty set to 4 (to reduce network chatter)

Feel free to send some hashpower my way if you want to test. That goes double for all you ASIC owners out there! Smiley

[2013-04-23 17:54:11] Please check the details from the list below of the serve
rs you have input
[2013-04-23 17:54:11] Most likely you have input the wrong URL, forgotten to ad
d a port, or have not set up workers
 [2013-04-23 17:54:11] Pool: 0  URL: stratum+tcp://mmpool.bitparking.com:3333/

Weird, it's working great for me on Win7 64-bit.

Are you running an old version of cgminer? Maybe you have an old one.

Could also be a DNS resolution issue, in that case try:

cgminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://206.71.179.116:3333/ --userpass wormbog2:d=4

cgminer 3.0.0 fails for me too, but 2.11.3 works perfectly.

Glad to help. Bitparking is the best pool out there IMHO. Wish I had more hashpower to send to it.
