What has brain tumour has to do with his client making criminal activities? I think the lawyer will get doctors to testify that his client medical history push him to do this. But I doubt it will be enough to get his client out of the waters. As I read the articles, it looks like the kid is a career criminal. At 19, he has a long history of crimes, and I doubt even without bitcoin technology at his disposal, he will still find a way to make a crimes.
