Bitcoin is going strong, people are only buying alts to increase btc position. So when btc is rising they want to be in btc.
PIVX will rise again, don' t worry

when price drops or takes a big dive in altcoin market you don't really need any explanation. it is always one reason, the pump is nearing the end and pumpers are exiting.
you can associate it with a lot of different reasons, like bitcoin price rising, other altcoins dropping ,... that others have said but the main reason remains the same.

and this downfall is happening all over altcoin market at the moment, if you look at coinmarketcap all of them apart from 1 or 2 like NEM and Stellar have gone down something around -10%

just be careful of bubbles popping right and left from this point onwards.
