Hello everyone  Cheesy, I am new to this whole cryptoblock mining thing.

I only have a computer (laptop) with a really low kilohash rate of lesser then 10kh/s. I am still a student..

I know i know i shouldnt post or start mining such stuff if i dont have the money to start with at all...

I learned of this new coin called Feathercoin and got interested, i have been mining with my lousy com for 2 days in a pool and not even 1 FC yet..

I really hope some of you guys could help me out. What tips do you guys have for a poor guy like me.

I do not know if doing this is allowed or not. Moderators please give me a chance if its not allowed and dont ban me for this, just close this thread and give me a chance.

I apologise if I enraged anyone with the contents of this thread.  Sad    Sincerely, Newbie Embarrassed

If u want to spare me some peanuts to help me start out : 716R4zH9Jpx7WzyHvVQehXopDRCXp9Hcqm . I thank any kind soul

Welcome!!!

I don't really know too much about feathercoin (you can search on the forum and im sure that you will find lots of posts about it Smiley) but one thing Im sure is that mining is not for you (or for me hehehe) at least not bitcoins, Im running my GPU at 250Mh/s and Im not even getting 0.01 per day Sad so my first advice if you want to start making some bitcoins (or whatever other cryptocurrency) is to sell things in auction-like website (like bitmit for bitcoins), do tasks in exchange of those currencies (I know there are several pages that you can do a translation for example and in return they pay you in bitcoins) or help people with your knowledge and be happy with whatever they want to donate, if they want hehe

But as everything in the computers world apply the RTFM rule and read, read and read hehehe Im also a newbie and right now im saving little by little so I can invest those bitcoins on hardware to mine more.

Hope this help you Smiley
